#MysteryMonday – October 23, 2017

We have a confession, Agents. For this week’s #MysteryMonday, HQ chose a hidden gem that we have not actually been to before. We know, it’s shameful. Typically here at Mystery District, we like feature places that fit two pieces of criteria:

  • The location of the hidden gem is in a somewhat secretive locale
  • The hidden gem offers an awesome experience

With its modest façade amongst a very busy and popular 17th St, this hidden gem is a slam dunk on requirement #1; however, HQ can’t officially sign off on its awesomeness! So what is this hidden gem and why did we choose to still feature it?

HQ walks past Little Serow nearly every damn day. But it wasn’t until a few weeks ago that we realized something must be going down in this seemingly ordinary establishment. The thing that gave Little Serow away was the line of people stretching out along the sidewalk leading to its moped-lined door like a pair of Sphynxes. Previously, HQ had heard that Little Serow was an awesome Asian cuisine restaurant with a secret location on 17th St NW, but didn’t put two and two together until a couple of weeks ago. Now, it’s skyrocketed to the top of our hidden gem bucket list, and scored a feature on Mystery Monday.

Have you been to Little Serow? Let us know what you liked about it!
